Calvin Picture.jpg

CALVIN IMPERIO, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist - Silver Spring

Calvin completed undergrad in 2019 where he graduated with a bachelors in Wellness with an emphasis in Fitness before continuing on to graduate from the DPT program at Andrews University in Michigan in August 2022. Originally from FL, Calvin bounced around the east coast until arriving in Maryland in 2022 where he began working for Innovative in Silver Spring. What drew Calvin to PT was the beauty of its versatility while maintaining simplicity in healthcare. A Physical therapist is able to treat a variety of patients with the simple goal of improving function for an individual's everyday life. This can range from getting patients to return to high level sports all the way to helping patients to stand and walk on their own again without fear of falling. Outside of work Calvin enjoys spending time with family hiking, rock climbing and snowboarding, but you may also find him tucked away in a Barns & Nobles or wandering through the Lego aisle of your local Target. Besides teaching exercises in physical therapy, Calvin also teaches cello to beginners students with the lofty goals of eventually creating a small music school with his wife, a fellow DPT.

The therapists are knowledgeable, patient, ready, and willing to give you the best physical therapy care. The therapists will explain the care plan and assist you from beginning to end. They are kind and generous to work with your schedule to help lead you to be whole. I will recommend anyone needing physical therapy to Innovative Physical Therapy. You will be happy!

LaVerne D.

I would recommend Shannon to anyone who has had surgery and needs therapy because she is helpful, knowledgeable and very kind.

Diane D.

Shannon truly has the best interest of pain-free results for her clients, myself included. She is personable efficient and makes PT a great experience. I followed Shannon to new location bc she’s that good or should I say great. Her knowledge basis is always on point when you ask questions. I enjoy PT and the passion of Shannon as my therapist.

Valarie B.

I highly recommend Innovative! I had the best experience working with Shannon and Czarmaine! They are extremely knowledgeable, patient and compassionate. I am recovering from a neck injury due to a car accident and she took a lot of time to understand what areas I needed help with and made a very specialized plan for me to improve my mobility. Shannon is a great listener and really seeks to understand her patient’s needs. Unlike other physical therapy places I’ve been to, I felt like I was getting consistent and dedicated one on one treatment each time. Shannon took her time with my appointment and I never felt rushed. She was always prepared with an in-depth exercise plan when I arrived and always provides clear instructions for what I am to do at home. I cannot say enough great things about the experience and highly recommend this to anyone seeking a physical therapist in the DMV area.

Jesseca G.

Shannon is very knowledgeable, puts you at ease, and is genuinely interested in your care. The space is neat, well organized and Shannon does a great job with sanitizing and keeping the space clean.

Wanda B.

I am so impressed with the PT I receive at Innovative Physical Therapy, in Fort Washington, MD. Ms. Shannon Elqorchi, DPT, developed a therapy plan compliant with the doctor's orders. She further tailors the plan to how I respond to each treatment as I progress. She explains how the exercises promote conditioning and healing and the progress is evident.

Innovative Physical Therapy's staff is efficient and equally professional. They are responsive and ensure timely communications with my medical team and health insurance provider, so there are no lapses in treatment. In addition, I feel I am well protected from Covid-19 at the Fort Washington facility, due to the high state of cleanliness and the rigid protocols which are implemented. For the reasons cited, I highly recommend Innovative PT at the Fort Washington location. Simply the best PT experience I have known!

Robert B.

Shannon, the therapist at Innovative, is professional, dedicated and thorough in providing a level of care that has given me the assurance that my physical and medical needs were always met. I highly recommend Innovative and do not hesitate to give this practice a 5-star rating.
